AC Schnitzer Pedal Kit - Has anyone installed these on an e39? The kit shipped with a replacement gas pedal and aluminum pedal which installs on top. The replacement gas pedal is identical to the one in the car. HOW DO YOU REMOVE THE EXISTING GAS PEDAL to make the attaching of the aluminum pedal much easier?. Can seem to remove it from the floor. Or should I just drill the holes in the currently installed pedal and hope I can get the lock nuts on the underside of the pedal.

Thanks for your help.
Tracey
