Thanks Jim,

I called the dealer who told me that the 3rd connection was optional (perhaps for a supplementary amp.)

Regards,

Trevor :)

: : Hello Jim/John...anybody :)

:
: Not sure I will be much help - I do not have the Nav system - actually the installation is different depending on whether you have the OBM or not (In some markets you can get the OBM witout the navigation)

: Mine (DSP but OBM) has 3 cables.

: - thin round cable to circular plug (this goes to the DSP amplifier and I think it is a coax for audio output and maybe some control data)

: - 3 wires (tape wrapped) - plugs into middle connector. This is probably the power leads

: - thick round cable (5 wires) plugs into the last connector. This is listed as the "connection cable - CD Changer". There are 2 versions listed depending on whether you have the OBM or not. The one for the OBM is much shorter (about 9 inches), while the one for then non OBM installation is about 10.5 ft - so I assume it goes all the way to the radio in the dash. With the OBM the radio is mounted at the rear near the CD - so that would explain the difference.

: Sooo - all I can tell you is that it would "appear" that there are 3 cables - you will have to refer to someone that has the exact same installation as you.

:
: Cheers

: Jim Cash
