Hi there fellow bimmerfreaks,

I have the following problem:
The drivers seat on my '96 528i is pretty much worn out. My predecessor seems to have had some problems with the vertical adjustment. I just cant find an appropriate position of the arm since there is no fine tuning possible (which shouldnt be -- the passengers seat is alright in that matter). By the way -- I am quite tall (195 centimetres).

so I am considering buying a new sports seat, including support for the spine (yeah, those inflatable microcushions). But this will be a big investment. My question: Does any of you have had a bad experience with sports seats? Are there any known problems? Please let me know. Thanks!
