: They have very little inventory, but over in the corner of the lot I found a NEW 1998 528! For some reason (they either couldn't or wouldn't say), it has never been sold and is still considered new for loan and insurance purposes. Cashmere beige with beige leather, all options except sport package. This is a very unusual car, it might make sense for a cash buyer who swoops in and makes a great offer.

It has been my experience that purchasing out of model year vehicles is not attractive financially for the purchaser as the value of the car is based on every other '98 out there (now two years old). It is doubtfull that even a cash deal could be struck for price anywhere near a typical '98, regardless of the value of a full warranty. BMWNA might offer additional incentives in such cases to lessen the burden of the dealer who probably takes a bath on this type of car the longer it sits around.
