Peter if all functions have failed then yes check the fuse (#10 above the glovebox).

Otherwise it will probably be an open in the connector under the seat (wiring lead coming up from the floor).

That seat is not computer controlled, and as far as I know it is independent of all other circuits other than the "consumer cut off" - it will not operate when the car has gone to sleep - but neither will the other seat, etc.
