even assuming the 1% residual error (I think they will catch this when he signs the papers), I think the invoice + $1400 is a pretty sweet deal!

: : I've been in the market for a lease on a 2000 528i for a while now. I've been reading this board for a while now and have a fair idea of what a competitive deal would look like. So, I decided to stop by Weatherford BMW and challenge them to counter the following offer from "another" dealer :-) in the area.
: : invoice + $1500 on a 528i with the following options:
: : silver/grey, auto, xenon, rear air bags & shades, moonroof, premium pkg, park distance control
: : Guess what ... they accepted it (invoice + $1400) with the following lease terms:
: : 12k miles/year and money factor of 275 and a residual of 67%
: : I was very insistent that there be NO last minute surprises and am hoping they stick to their end of the bargain!
: : Can't wait long enough (an october production slated for delivery mid/end Nov).
: 12K/yr 67% is a residual error, and no, they are not going to swallow the mistake (you will) if you want to take delivery. Call 'em on it!
