Seriously...if braking has been smooth, no pulsing/vibration thru the steering wheel/brake pedal AND your disks 'mike' within limits (use a micrometer to check disk thickness) just replace pads and pad retaining hardware and be done with it.
If the disks look a little glazed just have them turned on FINE CUT only to remove a few (very few) thousands -just enough to remove the glaze and the lip.
Remember to break in the new pads just as you did when the car was new.
