: l was wondering if any of you had by any chance an HFM out of an E39 540i for sale. l want to fit it into my M3. Don't want to pay ridiculous price of new one, and since the 540i and the Euro M3 use the same HFM l thought l would give you guys a try.
: Thanks alot guys

The HFM (Hot Filament Meter - which is the Air Mass Sensor) has different part numbers for the E39 540 and the Euro M3.

So not sure about your statement that they are the same. The Euro and NA 540i versions are Part # 13 62 1 702 078 - at least till Sept 98. I do not know what the 99's are.

Cheers
