I dont have Zeons, but I beleive the clip system is the same. I R/R the headlights in about 10 mins each. Also both of my headlights had something done to one clip to prevent front being taken apart. The spot weld the platic, thus i used a sharp knife and cut this away before a could proceed.
The staple in the clips should be fairly easy.
Take wire cutter and cut in the middle then use needle nose to pull out, do it slowly and work it out. The pastic clips are not very strong.

I think the seal is from hella and a way to test if it was sealed and then passed tests and stapled or spotwelded.
The trip to getting a good seal whe replacing the lens cover, use a new gasket, my kit came with new seal. Do one light at a time, thus you have a reference
