Good comments, Jim. I always enjoy your posts! My 99 528-5 has averaged 29.7 mpg over these first 7000 miles and 32.5 on a 1000 mile interstate trip at mostly 80 mph. My "complaints" include the sun visor which continually hits my head when placed at the side window, an ineffectual center arm rest and too close a cut off on the xenon's. On the plus side, it is much improved performance- wise over my 525 and I have had zero defects to date.
