Further to a following message some gays have used a test CD to set their systems to a relatively "flat" operation (so that all frequencies are at approximately the same level - this is normally what you want unless you have hearing difficulites or prefer a specific tonal quality)

Suggested settings are

80 +2
200 -2
500 -2
1000 -2
5000 +2
12K leave flat (or increase if you like high frequencies.


Set these in both memories (1&2) and then start to play with settings in Memory 1, while using 2 as a reference. Eventually you will get settings in 1 that you like, then use them as your preferred setting (record on paper for your future reference should the memory settings get erased )
