I have been in Taiwan flying through the countryside in a big MB. It's a good feeling, and yes, there are plenty of places to cruise. Hong Kong is another story, I laughed when I saw the nice cars there and all the traffic.
Another factor to consider is safety. Taiwan is not that safe of a place to drive, and I would prefer to be in a vault than anything else.

: the street and hway there simply don't allow you to enjoy your E55 :)
: it's a waste to bring the car there.
: Again, the last time I went there was several years ago, things could have improved but I doubt.
