The new chip upgrades for E39 require reprogramming your stock one, not replacing it. Jimmy has a couple of Dinan software upgrades, I have none and need to learn much more about them, so I am slightly disappointed with the non-constructive feedbadk. On second thought, not a bad question, what is a Jim C Chip, but Jimmy® we could use your help. BTW, did you really register your first name? That's pretty strange!
