recentely, i have noticed that there is vibration in the steering wheel at highway speeds of 70mph

2 days ago, i rotated the tires on the car...i moved the tire from the rear passenger side to the front passenger side, and did the same for the driver side...the rear tire which i moved to the front passenger side was a new tire which i had mounted 2 months ago (only this specific tire was damaged and replaced with my spare; the 3 other tires had 15,000 miles driven)

so now, the driver side front tire is an old tire, while the passenger front is the newer tire with about 5000 miles on it

i am wondering if the mix of new/old tires in the front of the car would be a potential cause of vibration, or must the tires be rebalanced, or must the car be realigned, or is there a more serious problem
