I agree. Funny I had the car for about 7 months and I still play with the seat adjustments. I think I found the best one now.
I've put 10,000 miles on it. When I first got the car I had trouble hearing the engine also. But I beleive it has gotten a little louder. I just put in a stock replacement K&N Filter and it also help create some noise.
I thought I was alone the delayed reaction of the gas pedal. I beleive all the cars that have DSC are "drive by wire".
What helps in the noise and gas pedal feel is shutting off the DSC. It seems to increase the gas pedal response and the engine sound increases.
After six months of constantly shutting off DSC to get the improved feel the car seems like it has adapted a sport program with the DSC on. I rarely shut DSC off now.
Compare the gas pedal feel buy tapping the gas pedal before and after shutting off DSC. In between modes they is a little delay in feel adjustment. the car feels more responsive with DSC off. Try it out.
I have the DSP Stereo, I think it sounds excellent compare to stock and aftermarket stereos. The DSP is a waste for me. I just like the clear high power and bass output.
