You can get the SP8000's for the 540i6 for $125 per tire from TIRERACK. Can't beat that price for a 17" ZR.
: It might be wrong about the SP8000's and SP2000's rating? Does anyone know rating for SP8000 and SP2000 tires?
: : SP8000's are good, however they are Ultra High Performance while SP9000's are Max performace tires. They are Z-rated tires, while SP2000's are W rated and SP8's are probably also. Again as you move up the latter, you'll find the tirewear to be more and more because the compound is softer. It's your choice, because all of the tires are good in their own way. You gain in some areas while losing in others. There's no such thing as a perfect tire. Well not yet at least. Good luck!

: : : : Michelin MXX3 for dry like Phoenix
: : : : Michelin Pilot Sport or Dunlop SP9000 for wet like Seattle.
: : : : : I need to get new 235/45R17's for my E39. What is the best tire for comfort/ride and performance? What do y'all recommend? Thanks in advance...
