This was also the first trip on which I relied very heavily on the nav system. Wow.
I left home, and used the Points of Interest to find the hotel in Tarrytown. Worked flawlessly, turn by turn, from my driveway to the hotel!
I then used the system to get into Manhattan (East Village). My Fast Last transponder from Massachusetts was honored in NY, allowing me to avoid toll congestion. Ain't technology grand?
When I got to my destination, I couldn't find on-street parking so I used the nav system to find a garage. Again, terrific guidance, right to a convenient garage.
I used it to get from the hotel to visit a friend on Sunday night, then on Monday morning to get to the office, and finally, on Monday night home. It made the trip so easy to not have to be concerned in the least about how to get to the places I had to be.
