Not sure, but I don't think the type III is available in the wider rears in 18". The wider rear setup really improves the look. I've used 18's and H&R's on my last two e39's and really liked the setup. Not noticeably harsher except on really rough pavement and days when the temp is below 40F or so. BTW, I want to sell my type II ACS with 235/265/18 sp9000, about 3k miles, absolutely new condition. Would appreciate anyone's help in moving them, new E55 is in route. When my computer starts behaving again I'll send you some pix. Good luck, allen.
