: I'm looking yo buy a 2000 540iA. I'm debating the color inside and outside. Did anyone see the Siena Red on a 540? I saw it on a Z3 and it looked great. Also, what would be a good inside color? I figure black since it appears to add a richness to the car. What are other good colors for the 540. Thanks for any input.

I like biarritz blue for a few reasons.
1. It is light enough that it is easy to keep clean. 2. It is dark enough that it looks rich.
3. It is NOT purply and 4. I am a blue lover.
IMO, this exterior looks great with black interior, pretty good with grey and crummy with beige (too showy, IMO). Color is a matter of preferrance, though. Beware though that red increases insurance rates signifigantly. If you don't care about that and like the red, go for it. Hope this helps.
