I often drive home from work in the left lane with my left turn signal on the whole time. Only because nearly ALL the cars are driving in the left lane while the right lane is open. I will not pass on the right. Some people are polite and move to the right lane while others are clueless and should be ticketed.

I am all for higher speed limits with restrictions on trucks and new or unskilled drivers. In major cities the speed limit should be low but there is a lot of space between our cities. The mobile tax collectors should target other sources for revenue generation such as not using the turn signals, running red lights, passing on the right and doing anything in the vehicle that requires you to take one hand off the steering wheel for more than 30 seconds. By this I mean ticket people for doing things like shaving, brushing teeth, eating, talking on the cellphone (get hands free or pull over), drinking out of huge containers that make it impossible to see where you're going. If some of these things sound far fetched, they're not. I've seen it done on my way to work. But the only people I know who get tickets are people who drive an M3 in an open road at 90mph!
