: wow.. i have 19 inch wheels too and i am pretty scared.. I try to avoid all the bumps and pot holes as much as I can. But I do live in the SF bay area where the road is pretty messed up. I think I have a good chance of bending my rims too but wish me luck. So what do you think is the best way to prevent it?? more air pressure or less air pressure? I have been hearing a lot of different stories regarding air pressure. Some says if there is more air pressure, the rims have to absorb more shock from the ground so they are more vulnerable to bending. But some say if there is less than optimal air pressure, tires tend to wear out faster. So what is the best way to prevent it from happening? I know, someone will say, get the 17 inch but I have already spent too much money on the 19 so probably don't have $$$ for 17. I remember reading somewhere on the post that you have 41 rear and 39 front. Do you think that is too high and that is the caused for the bending?

: thx
