: : The best and strongest rims are 100%Forged Rims.
: : Three piece wheels have forged centers and rolled rim halves. The rim halves are not any stronger than cast wheels. On my previous E-34 I had Dinan 3-piece, Racing Dynamics 1-piece and O.E. Forged M5 wheels. The M5 wheels were undestructable. The RD's got egged on the inside. Though the Dinan's bent easy, they looked and performed the best. Had 255/40/17 all around. I beleive they are an excellent choice for the track.
: : Here is a list of some forged wheels I know,
: : 0.E. E-34 17" M5, O.E. 18" M parallel spoke,
: : O.E. 17" M3 M Double spoke, BBS RC, BBS LM

: : Also having a firmer suspension and lower profile tire leaves less cushioning for the rim.

: : -JIMMY, Cheap wheels or not the Breyton's look Awesome on your car.
