: LeNoah,

: The system costed around $2800 and it consisted of 4 tweeters, 2 mids, 2 8" woofers, 2 amps, and woodwork. 2 tweeters were mounted in the side bottom door panel the other 2 were mounted on the backside of the rear view mirror. The mids replaced the factory mids and the 2 woofers were bolted under the rear deck.

: There was no cutting or modifications done to the car itself. The wood was all pre-cut from a template that they use for the 5 series.

: If you want ultra loud head banging boom boom type sound, then this is not the system you want. I went with them because of the smoothness, imaging, and natural sound the they produce.

: I'm trying to figure out were I can put a head unit so I can bypass the factory head unit with out crippling the computer system.

: Oh yeah, all the other factory speakers were disconnected. Their service is great and in my case, we're in the process of tuning the sound to my tastes.

: I would take pictures but there's really nothing to show.

: : : www.adst.com or a company called Reus Systems in Anaheim Ca. They did my car and didn't have to cut anything and it sounds great!!!

: : : : Just got this one last month, paid $59,500 for it. (Before tax). The automatic with sports package are very had to get in Sam Francisco, Bay Area. One dealer even told me it would be next march if I order one. This car is by far the best automobile I've ever driven. (for folks who want consider a lexus GS400 as a second car, I say stick with bimmers.)
: : : : This site is great, I already learned a lot of tips after reading for couple hours.

: : : : Only one complain on my car, the stock stereo (Non-HK) totally sucks, anybody has any suggestion on a good after market one. ( I heard they have direct plug-in bass booster unit for all bimmers, anybody know about this)

: : Can you give any add'l info on Reus Sys. i.e. cost, what was added, etc? Thanx

Russ,
Thanx for the response. Whoa you are way more into the s.s. than I. I love music but my internal audio system (hearing) is just not refined enough to warrant that kind of expense. My thoughts were along the lines of a few hundred bucks to increase the bass response a bit. My Jeep Grand Cherokee has better sound than my bimmer and somehow it just doesn't seem right.

LeNoah
