: : : I had a chance to test my new 18" S02s on ice yesterday. My house is on a hill in the Rocky Mountain foothills. After a snowstorm last week, we were almost completely down to dry pavement accept for one short icy stretch on my street. On my way home I tackled the ice. I can now tell you all that the "agressive" tread coupled with 265mm width makes for absolutely no forward momentum on snow covered ice. My wife pulled my up the hill with the SUV. BTW, the bumper-mounted tow hook attachments are sleek and work great!
