I just received my Momo F16 aluminum/leather shift knob and I gotta say - it is HEAVY!! I was worried abount the mass of the knob since I had a previous MOMO and it was light as a feather, but not this one! I was reading on the UUC Motorwerks website that the mass of their Rob Knob is what makes shifts even better (acts like an inverted pendulum). I haven't installed the EVO Ultimate Competition shifter yet, but will all let you know the results of the install and shift feel as soon as I'm done. The polished aluminum and black leather go perfectly with the interior of my '97 540i/6 too.
