: I have a rear facing child seat w/ the detachable base mounted behind the passenger's front seat. The rear facing child seat has one of those carrying bars that, if you lock it facing the rear of the front seat, will take up valuable leg room/recline room from the front seat. We maintain the carrying strap locked in the carrying position, and gain about 3-6" of seat room. Also, I have a toddler booster seat behind the driver's seat for our second child.

: As far as baby accessories go, consider using a sling or putting the cheap $15 umbrella folding stroller in the trunk. THose fancy strollers ($100-$150) take up more room than really necessary. We keep the fancy stroller in the garage and use it around our neighborhood. We use only the umbrella stroller when travelling and we use it quite often for our 4 month old.

: I have two 12" Subwoofers inside of a sealed box, umbrella stroller, sling, a couple of violins (we take lessons weekly), my laptop and we manage to squeeze three days groceries inside the trunk. Diaper bags go inside of the car. You'd be surprised of all the stuff this car can hold.

:
: : : Why are you departing with this beauty? What does the Sport offer over a fully loaded Sport/Premium?
: : : How much are you asking?

:
: : At the time I bought this car there was no sport/premium package available (it was one or the other). The sport package substitutes Shadowline exterior trim for chrome, puts high tech trim inside in lieu of wood, gives you the 17" wheels and lowered/stiffened suspension.

: : As for why I am selling it, my wife and I have a 5 month old baby and feel that we need something a bit bigger. It gets a bit cramped in the front passenger seat when the rear-facing child seat is in back. Also, the trunk gets full pretty quickly when there is a stroller in there. Other than that, the car is absolutely perfect. Frankly, I am not so sure my wife will actually part with it when the time comes.

: : As for price, I am asking approximately $36,000. But I need to check some things first before I decide on a definitive price.

: : Please e-mail me if you want some pictures.

Thanks for the comment on the toddler carrier (aka "Bucket"). Unfortunately, our carrier came with specific instructions that the bar had to be down, or else the seat is not locked onto the base. Otherwise this would be a no-brainer.

Again, thank you for the input. We will probably buy one of those inexpensive (and small) strollers this week-end.

Randy
