Any legitimate dealer will sell it at retail price. If we as BMW enthusiasts want this
type of thing to stop, we should put the dealer's
name all over this board so that "the world" knows
that he is ripping people off BIG TIME. Maybe
we should get the IRS to check out how much
he reports selling it for?
Maybe the blame goes to the people who are willing
to spend over retail price. As much as I really
like the car, I would never ever give a dealer
over retail price, even if I had Bill Gate's money.

: While driving to a meeting today I passed an
: exotic car dealer in Northeast Ohio and what would
: they be displaying in their showroom window?
: A Silver M5 !!! It appeared to be Titanium Silver,
: black interior, and Dunlop's on the 18" wheels.
: The MSRP for the car was $74,500 and get this, the
: dealer had added a line called "market demand" and
: added $25,000 to the MSRP.......Yes, you too could
: have this M5 for a mere $99,500 !!!!
: Impressions: Great looking car!, love the wheels,
: rear spoiler is small and underplayed, very well done!
: The front air intake on the other hand is 'huge' and
: ready to eat anything in its path....
: Would love to have one but will settle for my '00
: 528i when it arrives in March.
