BMW recommends 235/40/18 in front and 265/35/18 in rear on 18x8/9 rims. I would also suggest that you check out the tire ratings on tire rack for performance and ride quality factors. You may end up with a very harsh riding tire.

I just upgraded to 18's and I went with Dunlop SP Sport 9000 in the above sizes. I am very pleased with both the handling and ride comfort of these tires. They were a bit more pricey than the Pirelli's you are looking at.
