: I know there have been some posts in the past here regarding the trim panel that has to be lowered to get to the CD Changer and the fact that BMW makes one with a sliding door that you can order (yea, just like in the video that ships with the car...).

: The plain fact is that it is a PAIN IN THE ASS to lower that panel to get to my CD Changer (OK, it doesn't help that it is 9 degrees here in Chicago and my panel sticks).

: Well I talked to Arnold at Pacific BMW today (great recommendation guys - ordered my UGO and floor mats today) and he tells me he has never ordered one of these panels before.

: He is going to go ahead and order the part so he can at least see it.

: But here is my thought-
: I paid $800 for this damn changer.
: And at that price, I wonder if I have an argument against my dealer to make them buy me this trim piece?

: Your thoughts?

: PS-
: Before you start carping on me about paying too much for the player, be aware that this was before I knew about this board and Pacific BMW. Either way, since the darn thing is residualized into my lease, I only end up paying like $350 for it anyway. Plus, as Arnold said (I think to make me feel better), I get a full four year warranty on mine. Man, do I feel better :^)
