It was my understanding that the Euro delivered cars are identical to U.S. delivered cars. Do they reprogram the car at the VPC? Just to insert the speed limiter or are other parameters changed?

I took delivery on my 540i/6 last October and didn't test the limiter.

: Please advise how you do on the autobahn. I have to know what it is like to go 155 mph or greater (no limiter for European Delivery)

: : Wow!! time flies, I've got less than 2 weeks togo to meet my 540ia out in Munich. .... YES!!! I am very anxious.

: : I will be arriving at "Munchen" at Feb 13 from LAX.

: : Based on this boards advice, I will be staying at Hotel Jederman in Munich. Will be staying there for the first two days, and the rest depends on the weather.

: : Ideally, I would like to go to Stutgart to see some Mercedes and Porschs. I would also like to goto Salzburg and Innsbruck, by my understanding is that, to get to these places, I would have to drive thru the Alps. If so, i don't think I want to drive my new car in middle of nowhere, in deep snow.

: : Any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated.
