Only gripes are that I'd have to say the Lex Nav is a bit better (and I have to say this all the time to my friend with it in his GS :) and I really like to see phone numbers in the data. Its great for directions and finding the closest ATM, but why not have the phone number for the police or restuarants? Does the 5 Nav system perhap offer this? Or it could be that I'm missing something - I never did watch the video...

: I have a 97 528 w. nav and just ordered a 00 540 sport w/ nav. I love it and would not get a new car without it. I live in Boston and while I of course know my standard routes, when I am driving to a new address in a new part of town, I do not have to ever worry about directions. I enter the address and off I go. Another very good feature is the index of places. Let's say you are on the highway and want to know the nearest gas station, polic station, restaurant, etc. You just select it from the information menu and the car guides you. It has become as invaluable a high tech gadget as my television, vcr, mobile phone, etc.

: As for easy of use, I found it simple to learn. The radio controls are not on the navigation system. You still have buttons on the dash. Only the display is on the system.
