: While driving yesterday I noticed that "check engine" light came up. It is not blinking, so, according to the manual, it is nothing serious. I had half a tank, but still checked the filler cap: it was 5 degrees at most from the fully closed position. I suspect that the cause of the light is the filler cap. Anyone with similar experience can tell how long does it take for the light to go off ?

: The manual says that I should wait several days. I do not quite get it, but ... whatever. So, I might wait for a while and call the dealer. This light is pretty annoying, though.

: Any help and advise is greately appreciated.

I don't know about the 528 but the 328 had a recall for emissions whereby the ECU was fed new data to prevent the early failure of the O2 sensors. Check with the dealer.
