I get about 200ft out of mine. Just make sure that you use fresh batteries in the hand held remote before programming the UDGO.

: Same experience here; yet another trade off of the wave of the future. The advantages of the UGDO is a great looking finish and no batteries need changed. On the other hand, I found the Genie remote has much better range with a fresh battery and can be used without having a key in the ignition. Both seem like something BMW could overcome with a small engineering investment.
