I agree 100% on your comments on the intrisic value of the 528i. There's so much much more to its enjoyment. As a family sedan, it's more than I ever thought it would be. As a sports car, it's able to do better than my previous 944 & 535i.

In the interim, while I still drive under the factory warranty, I'll keep depending on my vintaged E21 323i to fulfill the boy-racer tendencies within me as well :)
