Hey, don't know if I'm making a fair comparison because I'm a soldier and negotiated in Germany here's what I got:

The total damage was $40,855. Of that $955 was shipping and drop off charges to get it back to the states. I paid $39,320 for the car. I know the math ain't right, but the 1st figure is right off the invoice. Plus I got a $1600 discount off the bat, because a friend haggled and I was there and said I want one too. Salesman couldn't refuse me the same offer. My buddy opted for a premium pkge with extra sound system.
....Now the rest of the story. I only bought my car to sell it. It has 500 miles on it, which I put on in 4 days when I picked up the car in Mannheim, Germany. It will arrive at the port of Charleston 3 March. The color is "Oxford Green II - Metallic". (Note BMW changed the green midyear 2000). The interior is Sand Beige
