This is why EVERYONE Hates buying cars. In order to get a decent deal you HAVE TO BE AN ASSHOLE.. Remember this is war, and alls fair in love and war.

I buy really expensive stuff for work all the time, and usually don't find the need to play this kind of game, but occaisionally, because of my responsibility to my employer, I need to play one vendor against another to get a better deal, this is never pleasant, but if the sales guys came up with good prices to begin with we would not have to pull stunts like this. Years ago I had a neighbor who was a manager at a car dealer, and my family has bought about 6 cars from him... in each case there was absolutely no discussion on price since he offered the cars at lower prices than we though we should pay...if you don't want us poor customers to pull stunts like this offer us good prices up front.
