Just picked a 97 540i. The car had an early build date of June 96. With 45K on the odometer the car is going in to the dealer for the first time next week. Car has already had both cat converters replaced. Here are some of the things I want to have taken care of under BMW warranty.

All four door seals are squeaking like banshees, would like all four replaced. Does this mean four seals on the doors or eight seals, four on the doors and four on the car frame?

Slow oil leaks from the oil pan gasket and the oil level sending unit gasket.

Cracked and worn drivers seat trim. The piece which holds the seat controls. Hopefully this will take car of the wheel not going out and up when the ingnition is switched off.

I understand some water pumps went aroung 40K. Like to have this checked.

I have the old style interior motion sensor. Like to have this changed. Is it possible without lying about having false alarms?

Would like to know what Car Memory parameters I have available for programming. DRL's and drive-away door locking would be nice.

The car has a CPT-4000 cell phone installed. Anyone have any ecperience with this model?

Anyone know if the new 7000 digital cell phone will intergrate fully (MID and wheel and all) with this early build E39?

I plan to purchase an extended warranty. Anyone have a source for DFS warranties?

Anything else I should be aware of on an early build E39 in the autumn of its factory warranty?

Thanks
