My initial order went in 2 weeks ago and was just told this weekend that it would be produced week of April 16....so I guess you are lucky that your dealer may have had one in production line already...hope to pick mine up at the Performance Center Memorial weekend and drive it back here to KC.

: My dealer is smaller (my choice) and advises the system is set up to get a perosn into a car in 8 weeks. four from order to production, 4 to ship and deliver. I did go to one dealer who was looking at a production report, with a number of 540i that were apparently theirs (ordered but not sold).
