You probably can return it with whatever you want to leave on it. But, why would you spend the bucks on that stuff and then just give it away to the dealer?
Now, if you're gonna trade that car in on another BMW, then it may be a different story. You may have some equity in the modifications. I'd check with your dealer first, before doing the work.
Lastly, you could sell the stuff after you're done with it, or just sell the car with all the mods to a private buyer. I think you'll get the best return on your money this way.
Otherwise, I'd keep the factory wheels/tires and put them back on when you return the car. You can undo the software and exhaust and get your car back to stock - if dealer won't give you any credit for it.

: wheels? I would like sell my 528i sport rims and use the cash towards a set of MK's or BBS RC's, but I don't want to inncur any penalties 3 years from now. I'm also curious about returning the car with some Dinan software mods and a remus exhaust.
: Thanks
: P.S.
: I would love to hear opinions on the looks of the MK's vs. the BBS RC's. I'm also interested in the Dinan sport rims. I'm totally confused, I have no idea what kind of mods I want to do. Also, (I'm sure this has been covered but can't find it)I don't know which Dinan software I should get, engine, trans (its steptrinic), or both. Last question (for now), does the remus sound good with the 2.8?, I don't want the car to get noticably louder, just sportier. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
