Although I have found the "V" shaped EQ pattern good for some songs, I have a favorite setting with the mid-range frequencies flat or even less. I had read somewhere here that these freq's are boosted by the DSP amp and I have found the sound less harsh and more true by setting freq 3 (500hz) 1 click under flat and the next two at flat and maybe 1 click above flat.

I also agree the bottom and highs should be boosted to max or maybe 1 less. Hey, whatever works.
