Yup, it was a good race. Both the teams(Honda & BMW) I support finished pretty well. I have been following F1 for years and I think this year will be very exciting.

I have a few point sto make though.

1) Those are not real Merc Engines. They are paid for by Merc to have their name on them.

2) Although, I am happy that BMW finished well i have to say that I think McClaren will probably win the championship. At the early section b4 retirement there was no question that they were easily pulling away from the rest. It is a long season and this mech failure is just a small setback.

3) Please pardon me for this point but I think it is valid.(Pls don't flame) BMW engine is still not competitive. They finished well because of the realtively advanced chassis of the Williams. A lot of development still needs to go into the engine. Of the newcomers I think Honda's engine is the most advanced. They teamed up with BAR who were the only team last season not to score a single point. Having seen BMW road cars I am pretty sure that with time (In a bout 2 years) it will be straight fight between BMW and Honda.(For me it is a win win situation cos I support both :) )

3 cheers

Ivan
