Hehe. This is the same reason I chose my 540i. I was pretty naive, not having ever bought a BMW before, I thought that I'd go to any dealer and get my 540i with the color I wanted and all of the options I chose... Ha ha... I was SO wrong.
I'd have never suspected that it could take months for a custom order. I wanted a new card that day.

One dealer finally found one that was exactly what I wanted and it was on its way to California. I just needed to wait two weeks. However, the dealer told me they'd give a 740i right then, right there, for the same price. I told them that the 740i was something my dad would drive. I quickly realized I had just offended every salesman because they all like the 740... Ooops. I'm 26 btw.
