: : MB Dealers and MB itself seemed to have a great deal of respect for the S500/500SEL and S600/600SEL so they generally went out of the way to be nice and helpful. (At $100k+, they probably figured you were NOT someone they wanted to p*** off. :)) That may have changed now but I do remember the dealers and company being extra attentive and solicitous.
