Okay heres the deal. If you have a large MP3 Collection and want to play it in your car, (CD player required) you can get a peice of software from Adaptec called "soundstream". I got a copy last night and it it awesome! It's an MP3 to CDA translator with an integrated CD burner utility! You pick the songs you want from your MP3 collection, add them to the burn list and thats it!

The software translates, and burns it to the cd. The catch is that you can still only get 74 minutes on a standard cd, but with a 6 cd changer thats almost 8 hours of your faforite mp3s!!!

I played my first cd on the way to work this morning and couldn't beleive how cool it was to now have a portable MP3 library (in 74 minute increments).

And no...I don't work for Adaptec.
