Should I buy a MY2000 or 2001? (archive)

i've been reading about the changes to the 5-series for MY2001. my 540 is scheduled to arrive in late may/early june. should i cancel my order and wait for the updated 5er, or take a my2000?

any advice/suggestions is appreciated.
