: I have a loud metallic buzzing/rattle coming from the stereo panel where the volume control is (MID?). How do you slide this unit out? I noticed it is seperate of the tabe deck just above it.

: Any help appreciated ASAP.

: Thanks

Pull off the Vol contro knob and look behind it. Htere is a small Torx screw that you twist to the left to unlock the latch on that side. While turning it pull out on the left side of the unit and it will pull forward.

Just twist the MID to the right as you take it out.

Then you will see the screws that hold the tape/radio unit. After those screws are turned out that unit slides out as well.

Cheers
