the fronts are not hard to install at all. four freakin bolts... that's it! as for the top tabs.. it's very easy to break cleanly, and you can put some epoxy after for a seal again. I did not seal my tabs yet cause I have a concern... on our stock ones we have that nice window to see the leveler, but the new one doesn't. anyone have any comments on this? thanks.

: : I just recieved my sets of clear lens from Pacific BMW and immediately installed them on my '97 arctic silver 540i6. I just read the post about opinions on stock amber ones. I personally like how the clears look over a silver car... just looks cleaner to me; but that's just my opinion. who else got them clears on there E39s? and on what color car?

: Installed clear side and rear's last week on my Alpine White E39. I *prefer* the clears - IMHO. I've got the factory Hella front clears as well, but haven't been adventurous enough to replace them just yet. I see the factory plastic-welds on the clips, so I wanted to get some opinions on experiences/steps/recommendations to replace them. BTW - I am running super-white turn bulbs all-around, which I like so far. Hope the ticket isn't too expensive!
