I believe there is a fix. I saw a post from a BMW person a few weeks ago and they said there was a software patch for it. The dealer knows nothing about it... I'm going to inquire about it soon. I like my lights all the way dim too. BWM read about a post with us commenting that the flashlight in the glove box was to fix this issue!!!!!! They (bmw)are embarrased...
