Through BMW you can order just about any color that BMW has ever put on a car- even that puke color golf yellow/green from the mid 70's! The cost ranges (retail)from about $1600 for recent BMW colors to $5000+ for Ferarri Rosso Red! I waited 6+ months for my car, but am ellated with its uniqueness. My dealer only charged me his wholesale cost for the color upgrade - about $1200. Really a neat program which is not widely publicized. : : : I just recieved my sets of clear lens from Pacific BMW and immediately installed them on my '97 arctic silver 540i6. I just read the post about opinions on stock amber ones. I personally like how the clears look over a silver car... just looks cleaner to me; but that's just my opinion. who else got them clears on there E39s? and on what color car?
