If u got the $ and you need to use it get it. Pulling out the laptop and TripMate are a hassle. You even have to get an inverter to power it all up long enough for a decent trip. Then you got no front passenger seat. I couldn't settle for the external (dealer installed) NAV. Just looks so octopussian. If it's got to be - it's got to be internal. Anybody out there using the external? I could be at least enticed check out a real installation. Nah, it's too late now - the rock is too small.

: Apart from NAV functioanlity, anybody have opinion as to whether it hurts or helps looks of dash area?
